7th grade humantities
In my 7th grade year of Humanities, I have Mrs.Piro as my teacher
The first project that we did this year was our Culture project. In this project, we learned about what all cultures have in common and what they all consist of. The product of this project was my glyphs. With our glyphs, we had to create 4 tiles that summarized our life. Here is a picture of my Glyphs

The second project we did was our globe project. During this project we had to learn about lines of latitude and longitude. For the final project we had to create a globe of the world while plotting the lines of the islands and continents. Here is my globe......FLOATING!
One of my favorite projects this year was my Eleven Oranges project. In this project, we told a story about an influential moment in our lives. Then we took that moment and wrote a story about it. To enhance the project we used figurative language. Some examples of figurative language is similes, metaphors, personification and lots more.
I had some great poetry experiences this year. Most have been with a teacher named Mrs.Goldblatt. She is a published author. She has taught us about found poems, rule poems and odes. I also learned a lot about what poetry is and some interesting strategies to improve our writing. Here is my found poem I made by cutting up magazines.
