Spanish Final
Since the first day of the Spanish, I have not just improved, but literally completely started a new language. I went from not knowing how to say pretty much anything to being able to say basic sentences that a Spanish speaker would understand. The specific study skills that I have used are looking up different vocabulary that I will possibly use in my conversation. I also practice with my partner quite often about the topics we are going to talk about. I think I could improve on my speed of speaking as well as other tenses. Also, my numbers need a lot of work. I need to use those a lot when at stores. If I was to take my final exam today I feel as if Noah and I would do pretty well. We are able to get about 6 minutes and 30 seconds of solid conversation. This time of talking is quality topics as well and not the basic "Que es tú _______ favorito/a.". The next step I would take to prepare for my final exam is to just keep on practicing the flow and speed of the conversation. The content is all there. I want my final presentation to be smooth and relaxed, because that is the environment I work best in
Final Attempt
A lot has changed since the beginning of this year and the beginning of final practice for that matter. Noah and I practiced very frequently. We were able to hit time and really focus in on what we were going to say and what each conjugation and noun was right in the sentence. We also packed our conversation with enough information so that we would be able to easily clear 4 minutes. When the time actually came to present, we shouldn't have been nervous, but we were. I was really tight at first and could actually feel the butterflies in my stomach. In order to get rid of those, I just tried to act like it was a normal conversation, and laugh off the questions. In the end, we did a very good job and received the grade of an "A". I was really happy with this A and felt like it was what I deserved.
