Be-U-tiful Banners
In the Be-U-tiful Banner project, our class created a banner with a quote of our choice that was displayed on a picture. On the back of the banner is a math expression representing something we are excited for this year. The quote I chose from the front of the banner was "Remember that whatever you do from sunrise to sunset you traded one day of your life for it." My quote motivates me because it reminds me that I need to make the most of every second of every day I live. You only have one life, so you might as well live it to the fullest as much as you can. I selected it because of how it is personally effective acting as a reminder for me to get working and not to procrastinate with anything . I hope that my quote motivates others similarly to how it motivates me by also reminding them how valuable our time is. Life seems long in the moment, but short in the long run. I hope to utilize my inspiration this year by taking advantage of every second I have. I don't want to waste ANY time just sitting around. Looking back, the times I spend doing nothing is not what I will remember. If I am working doing something every second of the day, I will be able to succeed academically while also having some fond non-educational moments to look back on. The time I could be sitting around is instead spent with other people or doing something that benefits myself(homework) or benefits the world as a whole.
